History

Rosa parks grandmothers father had  a last name of Percival. It meant a young scotch Irish boy. He was brought to the united states on a ship he was white but yet he was not free. Back in the day over in Europe, poor white people were sometimes indentured servants. He arrived in this country through the port or Charleston,South Carolina, and after that he was brought to Alabama to serve the wright family. He married Mary Jane nobles. She had an African descent with no white ancestors. She was a mid-wife and a slave. She helped deliver and care for babies. They had three kids. Two girls and one boy.
